Evo Love opening tomorrow, Miami
If you are in or around Miami do yourself a favor and go see Evo Love’s first performance piece at stash gallery. Have a beverage and some laughs… but be sure to bring a $1 because “this shit aint for free”.
From the press release: Visitors who attend the show are in for a real treat. They’ll get to walk up to a real fortune teller booth (with Evo Love sitting inside) and put in $1 to hear their very unusual fortune, personalized for each individual. But don’t expect to hear any feel-good messages. This fortune teller will make you laugh your head off with pronouncements like, “You will not win the lottery… so you’re basically screwed. Get used to the word, WORK, because you’ll be doing a lot of it.” AND “Your love life is barely there; if it wasn’t for your hand, it wouldn’t exist at all.” It’s going to be a fun, funny and out-of-the ordinary performance. The good part: everyone will leave with their own “art piece” to remember the night. Evo Love says Lil’ Miss Fortune is “designed to open our eyes to the reality of our lives and deflate a few egos, all in the name of comedy and art. It’s like sitting around with family or friends who know your faults and laughing about them.”
